|| A PERSON OF DIVINE WISDOM ||
Now please listen attentively . Fearlessness , salvation in life , freedom and the sovereignty of heaven can be achieved by none , except by the one who knows oneself , with certainty , to be Brahma Itself , pure Truth , Consciousness , Bliss , ever emancipated , and who sees one's own self everywhere .
Why should one's heart be perturbed , when one sees every thing as one's own Self ?
Why should a lion be afraid of its own roar ? Why should iron be afraid of a sword ? It is only its own changed form . Why should fire be afraid of its own flames ?
The stars may shoot , the ocean my burn , the Himalayas may be uprooted , and the Sun may become an ice ball , but why should a self-realized person of Divine knowledge be perturbed ?
Nothing can happen here without GOD's explicit order .
According to Isha Upanishad ( 7 )
" When one and only one is seen everywhere , ie , when Unity is realized in this seeming diversity by a person , one has nothing to worry about . One has no attachment with anything because there is none beside It . "
Another Sanskrit version says :—
" The sun may become cold , the moon become extremely hot , the flames of fire may flicker downwards , but the liberated one is not surprised at all . The one who is not alarmed even by the uprooting of big mountains is called Mahatma or great soul . "
A Hindi poet says :—
" If you destroy the very idea of dualism , you have nothing to fear . "
Sun shines on account of GOD , Indra obeys Its orders , air is Its messenger , rivers as if rub their foreheads in the sand before It . Rulers , emperors , gods , Vedas , and scriptures are only the ideas of a GOD-realised soul .
The three worlds and all the four corners of the universe are no better than a desert or a desolate land , if there is no lustrous glory of the person of Divine knowledge .
The universe is like a bulb in which the Self-realised soul is the Light . All the fourteen Lokas ( spheres ) constitute a body of which the GOD-realised one is the Soul .
One alone is the Truth .
The earth produces food-grains in the hope that the GOD-realized person may one day set foot on it . The seasons change , so that they may get a sight of a GOD-intoxicated soul .
The gods , humans and the Nag persons bear the burden of pregnancy and birth-pangs , only in the hope to give birth to an immortal soul having Self-knowledge . All the affairs of the world are conducted for GOD .
On One's arrival , all duties are over .
The houses are constructed , clothes are woven and put on , only to welcome the GOD-realised Soul .
When One comes then alone all the efforts are successful .
Wars are fought and people die only in the hope of getting a glimpse of the liberated One . The various stages of evolution are gone through only for the ultimate result to have a perfect person of Divine-knowledge .
Upasana , prayer , devotion , bowing , kneeling , weeping , and the paleness due to anaemia of love end when the red-bloodedness of Self-knowledge is inspired in a person .
It has been said in Chhandogya Upanishad ,
" O beloved ! your face shines like that of the one who knows Brahma " .
