1 . HYDRATE — Drink six to eight 8 ounce glasses of WATER distributed within 24 hours GE ; more water if exercising heavily . ( NOTE : Avoid dehydration and water intoxication . If any kidney or liver ailments etc present please consult professional medical assistance ONLY about water intake ) . || 4 ||

2 . BREATHE — Practice Pranayama " box breathing " aka " four square breathing " ( inhale-hold-exhale-hold ) for a count pattern of : 3-3-3-3 | 3X * OR * 5-5-5-5 | 5X — intermittently and when needed . || 5 ||

3 . MEDITATE — Practice OM Mantra Meditation 5-15 MIN GE — intermittently and when needed . || 6 ||

4 . AWARENESS — Practice Awareness : 1 . Stop activity and focus on simply observing and being aware ; 2 . Focus and become aware during activity — intermittently and when needed . || 7 ||

5 . SLEEP • NAP — Sleep 8 hours GE ( preferably in darkness without digital devices ) ; take power nap-s for 10-20 MIN GE — when needed . || 8 ||

6 . TECH BREAKS — Take breaks from technology ( such as cellphones tablets laptops and computers ) ; a sitting break should include ocular rest or exercises to prevent or relieve eye strain — intermittently and when needed . || 9 ||

7 . HYGIENE • BATHE • TEETH — Attending to basic bodily hygiene is refreshing : bathe with water ( with or without cleanser ) , brush and floss teeth , wash hands and nails ; etc . || 10 ||

8 . FOOD • PROTEIN • VITAMINS — The body needs a healthy diet with enough protein to function well ; take a multivitamin along with food + carefully researched dietary supplements for optimal functioning . || 11 ||

9 . WALK • STRETCH • EXERCISE — Sedentariness is unhealthy for the body . Exercise by stretching , calisthenics , pilates ; yoga asanas ; walking jogging running hiking ; aerobics , dance , resistance training , bodybuilding ; sports ; etc . || 12 ||

10 . PARK • GARDEN • NATURE — " Touch Grass " by caring for and talking to plant companions or gardening ; hugging and talking to trees ; birdwatching ; visiting a nearby park or lake GI — or at the very least : viewing nature videos and webcams online . || 13 ||
